About the Experience

We start in Bo-Kaap, known for its colorful houses, vibrant history, and blended cultures. We then move towards luxurious Camps Bay and The Twelve Apostles Mountain Peaks, with what’s known as Cape Town’s ‘Rivera’, the breathtaking Atlantic Seaboard, as a background for your selfie/photo stop. Optional is the ferry trip to seal island; from there we make our way to the African market in Hout Bay. Our tour then takes us around Chapman’s Peak drive for its absolute beauty and another photo stop for your viewing delight.

More about the experience

Our next stop is the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where we stop to view (and smell) fynbos, indigenous to the Western Cape. At the Reserve, there is various wildlife from baboons to antelope and various species of birds. After a brief visit to the lighthouse at Cape of Good Hope, we stop for lunch in Simon’s Town – it is here at Boulders Beach where we have the pleasure of sighting African penguins, our world-renowned inhabitants of the Cape. From there we drive along the Indian Ocean Coast, through False Bay as we make our way towards Muizenberg with its famous beach houses. Weather depending, the sunset picnic at Signal Hill, is a spectacular end to our day.

We will stop at the African Market in Hout Bay. You will see hand crafted art of all kinds.
