About the Experience
The exquisite town of Franschhoek, one of the oldest towns in South Africa, is where we start our trip. We then head to a photo stop at Drakenstein Prison, famous for the release of our beloved Nelson Mandela. Cheese and wine-tasting are next on the menu, with an optional lunch break.
More for the family
Hereafter, a brief walk-about in the delightful town of Stellenbosch, with its oak-shaded streets, lined with cafes, boutiques, and art galleries, followed by our second wine-tasting. As the area is famous for its wines, to round off the day, our last wine tasting in the town is optional, given our timing.
